Spotless facilities contracted Betterland to develop the canteen plaza of Mt Barker High School.
The school had previously obtained a school master design and required a competent and resourceful landscape contractor to develop the area.
The design provided extensive seating and gathering areas adjacent the canteen and included raised garden beds containing a diverse planting schedule.
Betterland restricted and redirected the pedestrian access to maintain a safe construction site for all whilst the construction was in progress.
The project included the removal of an existing garden bed and remediation of the existing paving.
Construction included the building of masonry and timber seating and raised garden beds complete with irrigation and finished with dense and varied planting.
The completed project provided a pleasant area for the students to meet, dine, converse and study.
